Bullards Gin: the Spirit of Norwich takes shape with Bruni Glass
08/05/2019 - Norwich - UK
Bullards takes inspiration from the history of Norwich. The historic English company started its activity at Anchor Brewery in 1837 producing a range of beers, wines and spirits. In 2015 has started to focus on quality handcrafted gin.
In late 2018 the packaging with the “Tipsy Anchor” has been created, developing a beautiful design in cooperation with the Bruni Glass Innovation Center for glass design and with Bruni Erben for closures. The iconic shape of the bottle is inspired by the Bullard’s chimney stack that towered over the city for over 100 years.
The Spirit of Norwich shows the pride and passion for the history and love for the city of Norwich, that is something Bullards is really proud of.
The English company has taken the rich heritage of the Bullards brand, re-designing Norwich Dry Gin with the Bruni Glass Innovation Center and modernizing its traditional image. The aim was that of communicating the handcrafted nature of the spirit and drawing a link between the new packaging and the beer brewing heritage that have made Bullards an excellent name over the years.
Iconic, innovative, original. This container comes directly from history to meet modernity and fascinate gin lovers all over the world. Bruni Glass and Bruni Erben have been able to give shape to Bullards needs developing a customized project that perfectly conveys the idea of a premium bottle anchored to the past with a look to the future.
Bullards Gin is achieving a great success in the world and it was also awarded at NACD Awards 2019, an American contest organized by the National Association of Container Distributors: bronze medal for "Best Use of Custom Packaging" and silver medal for the "Beverage" section.
